About Aphrodite's Treasures

Emma’s passion for jewelry was sparked at an early age by the gorgeous Victorian and Georgian treasures found in Granny’s jewel box. As a teenager, she spent endless hours frequenting the antique markets in Bath, England, where her mum lived.

In her early 20s, Emma studied Huichol, Ndebele, and African seed bead designs and techniques. In her 30s, Emma created a polymer clay millefiori jewelry company with her husband.

Emma’s current body of work draws upon self-taught wirework and beading techniques. Emma fashions her quality jewelry adornments using only the finest fresh water pearls, semi-precious gemstones, sterling silver, and gold-filled metals.

Emma loves the freedom of expression that wire wrapping allows. She loves to create the delicate, feminine designs that have always captured her imagination and admiration.
